Just a few short weeks ago my boy was on deaths doorstep. He was ready to take it out on some geese.....and did. Entering his third season he knew we were going when I drug out the decoys and equipment. The little guy was so excited that he "broke," which is going after them before me telling him to go. A big no no and he did get in trouble for it. He has done this maybe once or twice in his career at the most. I think he was so happy to be back he just forgot as he is one who really tries to please me at all times. Once I stopped him, put him back in position he did outstanding. Retrieving that many big Canada's in neck deep muck is a workout for sure but Chiloe was on his game. Once we got home and I got the geese, gun, equipment, dog and myself cleaned up he was still so pumped up he could hardly lay down. Damn,but I am getting old. WELCOME BACK CHILOE!!!
