Chiloe came through for me as well as Chase. Chiloe scored two passes this past weekend earning him his Hunting Retriever Champion Title. He had hurt his paw a day before the trial but I went ahead and ran him as I knew if he could talk he would want to do it. He smashed Saturdays test but struggled a little on the land test Sunday and then with the bum back paw had trouble getting up on the Momarsh stand for the water test. He didn't want to jump because it would really hurt when he did. He finally got up on it and then smashed that test. I am not sure of the exact number but with this Title Chiloe has become around the 100th Chesapeake in history to earn his HRCH title and Master Title!!!! What a great Birthday present for me....thank you Partner.
The customary "ice bath" after getting a title. Damn that was cold. I figured if Chiloe could run all weekend on a bum foot for me I could sure as hell take the bath for us!!!
