Ran the Backwater Hunt test this weekend. I tried to get Chase to calm down but no luck. He was a wild man. The only thing that saved him was they missed the flyer and he got a second chance to run again. He ended up winning a ribbon but only because they don't judge as hard in Senior Division. At least he retires on a good note. Chiloe ran as well as I dropped down a class just to run him one last time. He had a really poor throw and not only did he have trouble but he was really blowing off my hand signals to him. He did them good enough to pass and on his very last bird he lined the blind! A very good way to end his career and he is officially retired as well. You were/all I could hope for Chiloe....you will always be my Partner. The Tripp dog???? He is a friggen machine! He started to get a little wild on me but he is one impressive SOB. While being about the youngest dog in all 5 Senior tests he has run he passed all 5 and is not even 2 years old yet. Chiloe is passing the torch to a pretty good dog. It is on to Master division now Tripp where it gets much tougher. The good news is he is so young that if he fails a couple of tests we have a very good excuse. LOL Lets keep this ball rolling Tripp!!
