Not exactly the look I was expecting at 3 years old but one week ago I was thinking we might have to put my boy down. The lepto really took him down and after 3 straight weekends of being in emergency care with IV'S in him he is coming back slow but sure. In peak shape and condition Chiloe is 80 pounds with no body fat. This sickness had him down to 62 pounds! He is ragged looking right now but is coming along fine. Eating like his old self and while quite weak and tiring quickly he is slowly getting some stamina back. I hope the worst is behind us. Get well soon Chiloe, early teal and goose season are around the corner. Chiloe got sick once again and the vet said he now has Addison's disease. They claim once they get the proper mix of meds he can live a fairly normal life but he will have to stay on meds the rest of his life.
